ACCESS BY CAR
Access by car and parking
By car, the hotel can be reached using:
From the tunnel – available from July 2023 (length approximately 1500m, single lane each way, sectional speed measurement), toll-free crossing.
From the City Crossing – Bielki Ferry – the crossing is located in the city centre near the Ottaviano Hotel. Up-to-date information, schedule here.
Bypassing the ferry crossing and tunnel – via Germany (from Karsibór crossing – Karsibór Ferry – crossing only available for vehicles with hazardous materials, oversize vehicles and horse-drawn carriages between 8:00 and 16:30).
TUNNEL
Tunnel
Road tunnel under the bed of the Świna River in Świnoujście, connecting the islands of Usedom and Wolin and the centre of Świnoujście with the rest of the country. The tunnel opened on 30 June 2023. The tunnel is 1483,8 m long with an external diameter of 13,46 m. It is single lane in each direction. Passage through the tunnel is free of charge. Coming down the tunnel:
- Turn right into Kontradmirał Włodzimierz Steyer Street, which turns into Ignacego Daszyńskiego Street, which turns into Wybrzeże Władysława IV Street.
- Continue all the way to Daszyńskiego – the street becomes Wybrzeże Wladyslawa IV.
- Keep to the left lane, then turn left (in front of the taxi rank, parking area) – following the “Ottaviano” arrow on the lamppost
- Then left again (as directed)
- At the level of the Pharmacy, turn right despite the ban (not valid for hotel guests) – into Monte Cassino Street
- The hotel is located on the right side of Monte Cassino Street, a large neon sign. We will provide information about the hotel’s car park at reception.
- Once out of the tunnel, all the way straight to the Shell station (approx. 2,4km)
- Turn right at the Shell station
- Go straight on Grunwaldzka Street through two traffic lights at all times.
- Then, after the traffic lights, turn right into Steyer Street, which changes into Daszyńskiego Street.
- Continue all the way to Daszyńskiego – the street becomes Wybrzeże Wladyslawa IV.
- Keep to the left lane, then turn left (in front of the taxi rank, parking area) – following the “Ottaviano” arrow on the lamppost
- Then left again (as directed)
- At the level of the Pharmacy, turn right despite the ban (not valid for hotel guests) – into Monte Cassino Street
BIELIKI FERRIES
City Crossing (Bieliki Ferries)
Hotel Ottaviano is located closest to the city ferry crossing (access to the city centre) and the ferry crossings to Sweden and Germany. This will allow you to get to Hotel Ottaviano quickly and effortlessly. No other facility within the city provides such a location.
Once the tunnel is operational, the Biely ferries continue to run, carrying cyclists, pedestrians and cars. There are no longer queues. The ferries run every 30 minutes and are free of charge. If you don’t want to use the tunnel, you can still use the City Ferry Crossing; it is closer to the hotel from the crossing than from the tunnel.
After crossing, head straight along Armii Krajowej Street – approx. 300 metres. At the level of the pharmacy, turn right despite the ban (not valid for hotel guests). – into Monte Cassino Street.
ACCESS THROUGH GERMANY
Access through Germany
Drivers have the option to reach the hotel via German roads, bypassing the ferry crossing. Then head towards Szczecin - more precisely Radziszewo in the direction of Kołbaskowo. Entry to Swinoujscie is possible via Ahlbeck or Garz. The map shows the access from Kolbaskowo to Swinoujscie via Garz.
FERRIES KARSIBÓR
Karsibór crossing (Karsibór ferries)
About 5km outside Miedzyzdroje, at the level of Lunowo, there is a roundabout. On it is a sign directing to the crossing. Since the opening of the tunnel, the Karsibór Ferry is only accessible to vehicles with hazardous materials, oversize vehicles and horse-drawn vehicles. Up-to-date information can be found here.

After the ferry crossing, access signs, placed on poles and lampposts, also direct visitors to the hotel.

- After leaving the roundabout along Pomorska Street, continue straight ahead to the ferry crossing.

- After the crossing, continue straight ahead until the junction with Kontradmirał Włodzimierz Steyer Street (approx. 5,3km).
- Turn right into Kontradmirał Włodzimierz Steyer Street, which turns into Ignacego Daszyńskiego Street, which turns into Wybrzeże Władysława IV Street.
- Continue all the way along Daszyńskiego – the street turns into Wybrzeże Wladyslawa IV.
- Keep to the left lane, then turn left (in front of the taxi rank, parking area) – following the “Ottaviano” arrow on the lamppost.
- Then left again (as directed).

OTTAVIANO CAR PARK
Hotel parking
We offer our guests the use of a car park. The cost per day is 70 PLN. No advance bookings are accepted for the car park. The car park is located at the rear of the building - the receptionist will provide you with an access map to the car park:
- From Monte Cassino Street turn right into Bohaterów Września Street.
- On Bohaterów Września Street look for the entrance gate between the buildings On the right side marked below on the map as Gate 2 On the right side (approx. 40 m from the junction with B. Chrobrego Street)
- Once inside the gate, turn right and go straight on the slabs under the gate of the hotel car park - photo below
- Call the intercom !!!
- Attention! If you have bypassed Gate / Gate 2 then proceed to the junction with Street. B. Chrobrego and turn right
- After about 100m at the height of "gallery Plus" turn right into the gate / courtyard between the buildings. On the lighthouses are our Hotel Ottaviano signs
- Go straight along the slabs - you will reach the hotel (map below), ring the intercom.
